Charleston Chic Antique Press Release

Patsi Phillips has developed a new way for women to find their hidden talents, grow a business, and create income. By combining all three under one roof Patsi has opened the door for a more innovative way to do business in the lowcountry.

Patsi and her husband Johnny began developing this new concept last year. The idea being to create a place to house local talent in art, design, upscale new and used home furnishing, jewelry, and more in combination with a health and wellness center. In addition to the actual products and services, Patsi has opened her doors for local business men and women to use her space to launch products and ideas or to network through meetings and events.

Chic Antiques is primarily geared towards women in business but not exclusive to the ladies. Pasti said she feels her business isn’t about her but instead about the entrepreneur their service or product and connecting them to their the customer. After talking with Patsi you get a real sense of calling from her. She hopes to be that helping hand for those who are struggling in the slow economy, or to be an encouragement to the person who is taking a leap of faith with their career.

The concept seems to be working brilliantly as she already has 19 vendors and 6 cosigners. The treasures are everywhere. Pasti has booths to display smaller items such as hand made jewelry, stain glass art, hand made children’s clothes, home accessories, and unique gifts. The larger upholstered pieces of furniture and gorgeous light fixtures fill the isles and warm up the space. The second floor is focused on the health and wellness section of the store. This is where you will find Howard the massage and facial expert, and one of the three dental hygienist that work with patients on the total health of the body by focusing on gum disease, and mussels in the mouth.

The store has great nooks for networking meetings and business lunches. Patsi welcomes the local business community to spend some time in Chic Antiques, brainstorm new ideas, and form relationships.
